InterPlay Performance Technique

Scratch that itch and have more of what you want as a performer. More body! Voice! Play! Stillness! Connection! Story!
Coke Nakamoto and Gretchen Wegner

Oakland, CA

Sunday, April 29, 2012. 2-5pm

InterPlay Performance Technique blends improvisational storytelling, movement and vocal play with an emphasis on both solo and ensemble creation. During this workshop we will play with performance skills including:

- getting out of your own way to find the full range of stories inside you,

- cultivating the fullness of your voice and body to tell your stories,

- embracing your inner movement artist, whether or not you are trained in dance,

- having more easy presence onstage, as an individual and as a member of a "group body,” and

- improvising with different art forms to enliven your performance experience.

This workshop is ideal for Bay Area artists seeking a supportive community and those who are ready to take their art practice to a new level.

Cost: $30-$50
