Celebrate our home— through movement, voice, story, stillness in the beautiful Anthony Chabot Park of Oakland, CA with InterPlay Co-founder Cynthia Winton-Henry and InterPlay Next Gen Leader, Sally Lynne Mitchell. A special day of ritual and play, joy and healing, a presentation on the wisdom of permaculture from Laurie Adams, yummy organic sustainable meals and more.

Schedule

9-9:30 arrival 10:00 am–noon Enjoy the Earth and each other 12-1 Shared Meal 1-3:30 Playing with Earth Wisdom Open Space to hike, go to the lake, write, rest, make something. 5:30pm Shared Meal 6:30 Labyrinth, Closing, and Fire.

Cost $20-115 sliding scale per individual or family unit.

Cynthia Winton-Henry

Cynthia is one of the founders of InterPlay. She is a teacher, writer, dancer and organizer. With Phil Porter she provides leadership to InterPlayers around the world and others interested in integrating body wisdom in their life and community practices. Her books include What the Body Wants, Northstone Press, Dance: A Sacred Art: Discovering the Joy of Movement as Spiritual Practice, SkyLight Paths Publishing, and Chasing the Dance of Life: A Faith Journey, Apocryphile Press and Having It All: Body, Mind, Heart & Spirit Together Again at Last. She is certified to administer the Focused Energy Balance Indicator to people interested in the four primary patterns of movement.
