The Life Practice Program creates opportunities to:
- Discover new ways of getting what you really want in life based on an ethic of play;
- Deepen what it means to live from your natural, embodied self;
- Connect to the wisdom inherent in the creative expression of the body;
- Rest in a community that respects and affirms the wisdom of each individual;
- Expand your sense of connection, play and possibility in the areas you are called to serve in the world.
Each month, we will play with one of the 8 InterPlay Tools and deepen our practice of the InterPlay movement, storytelling, and vocal forms. The experiential format includes individual, paired and group forms, presentations, discussion and focus sessions. In between meetings, you'll have brief reading, reflection and writing assignments designed to support your integration and learning.
Jennifer, Ruth and Christine bring deep love & curiosity to their work as InterPlay Leaders. In Atlanta they have expanded their InterPlay work to include offerings to women in prison, NAMI of Georgia, and The Clarkston Community Center, a center that supports refugees in Georgia. They actively integrate the principles and practices of InterPlay to sustain them in their personal and professional lives.

Jennifer has been working with creative expression as a means of community building, self-empowerment and joy for many years! She landed in Atlanta to work as an actor and found herself invigorated by the ensemble creating work of The Academy Theatre. She worked as an actor, director and facilitator with the Human Services program of The Academy Theatre for ten years. Currently she teaches "with-hope" girls through Synchronicity Theatre's "Playmaking For Girls" program.
Jennifer is an ordained "New Church" minister. Her ordination path included an in-depth exploration into creating a church space that allowed each person present to find her own connection to the divine. The inherent wisdom of "where two or more are gathered," has long been a guiding principle in her teaching.
The simple connections InterPlay creates nourish, sustain and inspire her. As well as leading playgroups in the Atlanta metro area, Jennifer leads InterPlay with children and teens in her work as a teaching artist and with women in prison. She is the director of Atlanta InterPlay's performance group, Soulprint Players. Jennifer is passionate about making the transformative power of the arts accessible to all!

Carolyn Renée is a healer, artist, and community organizer. Her passion is advancing healing using creativity. As an artist she is a playwright, storyteller, and singer/songwriter. She works as a teaching artist with Playmaking for Girls (PFG). Through this program she serves on a teaching team that leads girls from foster care, refugee communities, and those who are serving time in youth detention centers in creating their own stories, and turning them into theatrical performances. In the healing arts she is third degree Reiki master and certified Natural Health and Wellness Consultant. Carolyn Renée loves to create art-infused projects that incorporate the healing arts and help create positive change. Excited to add InterPlay to her toolbox, she is most thrilled to be an InterPlay Leader in Training, and serve in a support role for Atlanta’s 2017 Life Practice Program as a Life Practice Assistant.
