Sarah Carlson leads a 3 hour monthly play group that emphasizes cultivating easy focus, community connection & blossoming into your fully emboldened creative self. Come fall into a safe space of exploration and possibility. Interplay forms provide the framework for delightful interaction, creativity and fertile introspection. New to Interplay? No problem! This group welcomes Interplayers of all levels & experience. Meets every 4th Sunday of the month 2pm-5pm

Sarah Carlson

Sarah Carlson is the Founder & Artistic Director of DANCELINK and Adjunct Faculty at Muhlenberg College. Sarah danced professionally for 10 years in NYC with numerous companies including Alexandra Beller/Dances, Brian Brooks Moving Company, Clare Byrne Dance, Paul Mosley Dance and the Metropolitan Opera Ballet. As an independent choreographer, her own work has been presented throughout the US at venues such as the Joyce Soho in NYC, On the Boards in Seattle, and The Yard on Martha’s Vineyard as well as in Benin, Africa. In 2006, she received a Fulbright Grant to study Vodou ritual dance in Benin, Africa furthering an on-going inquiry into sacred dance forms. In 2008, Sarah founded DANCELINK to promote community and communicate profoundly through the multi-dimensional instrument of the body. Always up for an adventure, Sarah enjoys facilitating serious play and as an Interplay Leader in Eastern PA. Sarah received a BA in French and European Studies from Connecticut College and an MFA in Dance from the University of Washington.
