InterPlay at the ESO
Belle Haven, VA
Every other Monday afternoon beginning March 21, 2016, 1 - 2:30 PM
This Monday afternoon class is a great way to start the week! InterPlay is a practice and philosophy rooted in the power of play. Participants will discover ways to develop ease in movement, voice, stillness, and storytelling, and it’s an easy to learn, creative process that doesn't require skill or experience. InterPlay celebrates and creates connection and community, integrating body, mind, heart and spirit. Through this simple form of play, we learn more about ourselves and each other. It is incremental, affirming, and something that anybody can do! It opens paths of connection between people of all ages and from all walks of life.
We’ll meet in the exercise studio on the first floor Monday’s from 1 to 2:30 PM.
Classes will be taught by Karen Hatch who fell in love with InterPlay six years ago and is now a certified leader. Karen has a background in health care and has worked extensively with adolescents. She is a singer/songwriter and has been cast and crew in musical theatre productions here on the Shore. Karen has offered InterPlay workshops locally for both youth and adults, and also in Washington, DC and North Carolina. For more information please feel free to call or email Karen at firstname.lastname@example.org and visit InterPlay’s website at www.interplay.org.
