Too many words? Seeking peace? Want a practice that aims for joy? Wondering about body and soul? This workshop offers a soulful place to discover, discern, and welcome the wisdom of the body through practices that develop ease in movement, voice, stillness, and sharing stories, Beginning with one-hand dances, one-breath songs, hand-to-hand movement with partners and thirty-second stories about light hearted and meaningful topics, explore the power of witnessing, noticing and affirmation in soulwork. Relate InterPlay’s practices to traditional prayer while • Dancing on behalf of others •”Exforming” the information overload in our body • Retrieving soul by including the body • Nurturing a physicality of grace • Meditating through movement • Discerning through body wisdom • Affirming and be affirmed InterPlay opens paths of connection between people of all sorts—in prison, schools, between cultures and faiths. Its great for spiritual directors, therapists, clergy, anyone interested in reintegrating body mind heart and spirit in an elegant, creative manner.
