USN is a vibrant, progressive, K-12 learning community, home to 1,000 students and approximately 150 faculty members and staff. The school is located in a bustling part of the city, literally a few minutes walk from Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities, and a few miles from Fisk and Tennessee State, two of region's Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Scarritt Bennett Center--a lovely retreat facility run by the United Methodist Church, lies just across the street from USN. Scarritt offers very nice and very affordable hospitality; guest can take meals there or walk to literally dozens of eateries. Free parking in the 19th Avenue lot.
