D.O.B.O. • Dancing on Behalf Of

Cynthia Winton-Henry

Oakland, CA

Every First Friday Friday, June 4, 2010 • 8-9 pm

Members and friends of the InterPlay community will “dance on behalf of” (DOBO) any concerns you have for people, places or situations on first Fridays of the month from 8-9 pm in the dance studio at InterPlayce, 2273 Telegraph Avenue.

June's event will focus on the tragic oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Sharon Pavelda will appear as “Wawa,” a spokes-deity for the wet stuff. Life music! A chance to vent on behalf of our oil dependency and lament for the natural world.

InterPlay is a global social movement. It is an active, creative way to unlock the wisdom of the body. “Dancing on behalf of” is an InterPlay “form” allowing us to embody our cares and concerns and to do that for others. It is a powerful way to create health and good will in the world.

You can just come and witness if you want! To share a concern, email it to info@interplay.org. We will add it to the list!
