Join us for a free fundraiser lunch! Are you wondering, "What is the Million Connections Campaign, anyway?!?" Come find out at this free fundraiser and friendraiser. There will be tasty treats, warm connections, some performance, laughter and fun, and the straight scoop from InterPlay Co-Founder Cynthia Winton-Henry about all the exciting ways InterPlay is reaching places we never imagined! This event will also directly benefit InterPlay development and activity in the North Carolina region.

Theron Shaw
Theron has been involved with InterPlay since about 2003, first in Seattle, WA and later in Oakland, CA as a member of the WingIt! Performance Ensemble. Back in the day, he performed as a modern dancer, aerialist, musician, actor and improviser. Now he occasionally plays one of his flutes with his toddler son Solomon.

Theron serves as Director of Development for InterPlay, coordinating fundraising and friendraising efforts throughout the InterPlay community. He loves fundraising because it’s a place where head, heart, community and action all intersect. He has worked in non-profit administration and fundraising since 1995, holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs, and is a Certified Fundraising Executive.

Theron Shaw is also founder and principal of Theron Shaw Fundraising, where he helps non-profits with fundraising strategy and major gifts.

He lives with his wife Elizabeth, his son Solomon and their dog Bear on Vashon Island, near Seattle, Washington.

Cynthia Winton-Henry
Cynthia Winton-Henry, co-founder of InterPlay with Phil Porter, has researched "what the body wants" in the arts, in jails, shelters, slums, hospitals, churches, businesses, classrooms, doctoral programs in theology and the arts, and in multicultural education. She develops somatic curriculums to address racism, leadership for the Earth, and spiritual intelligence with an eye to supporting millennials. A featured speaker on the Body Intelligence Summit and a keynoter at conferences, Cynthia is the author of What the Body Wants, Having It All: Body, Mind, Heart & Spirit Together Again at Last; Dance - A Sacred Art: Discovering the Joy of Movement as Spiritual Practice, Chasing the Dance of Life: A Faith Journey, and The Art of Ensoulment: A Playbook on How to Create From Body and Soul..
