Swim in the river. Enjoy a campfire, camp songs and s'mores. Be blessed by James Schattauer's soulful, playful and heart-felt original music. Follow InterPlayer Laurie Adams, Steward/owner at River's Bend, to connect with this beautiful place on Earth. Let Susan lead you to hang, loll and play indoors and outdoors in inspired ways! River cabins, pleasant rooms w/modern shared baths or tent cabins make InterPlay Camp an affordable journey (See costs below). Meals are lovingly prepared. Tuition for the event will be up to you: pay what you can! (Generally, the tuition for an event like this is in the $150 range.)
Susan Main has been an Interplay leader and member of Wing It! Performance Ensemble since 1995. She has led workshops internationally. Three years ago she followed a dream to move to the small coastal town of Gualala, where she lives on her family's 40 acre enchanted forest in a 28 ft travel trailer. She lives way off the grid with no water well or electricity and has used her active imagination, creativity and humor to come up with all sorts of ways to live simply yet comfortably. She knows and plays with camping!
James Schattauer is a long-time Interplayer and a gifted singer songwriter/performer. He plays with adults and children, spreading joy wherever he goes. "The warmth, compassion and wisdom alive in James emanates from his music. There is a soulful presence in each song. Listening to his music is grounding and connecting - to myself and the wider world. His work is a gift to be embraced. Simply transcendent..." -Helene Douville, Minneapolis, MN
Laurie Adams is an energetic and enthusiastic minister, long-time Interplay leader, nature lover/studier and is the new Steward/owner of River’s Bend Retreat Center.
