Friday Day Long Workshop Friday July 9, 2010 9:00am -3:00 pm

Experience InterPlay's easy steps and elegant ideas that lead people into the wisdom and resources of their movement, voice, words, stillness, and connections. Embrace your own style of playfulness in order to increase effective connections with others and have more fun in teaching. See how simple steps reduce self-consciousness, increase community, and grant diverse people a venue for expression. Learn how to create physically gracious environments through brief, clear instructions, lots of affirmation, and easy witnessing. Take away the power of deep breaths, sighs, hand dances, babbling, toning, and hand to hand contact. Better yet, bring a friend from work to help you find ways to bring more play, fun, and collaboration wherever you are. Cynthia Winton-Henry is the cofounder of InterPlay, a long time art educator, author, and an international speaker on embodied learning, spirituality, and community development. The cost for this day long workshop is $95, which includes lunch, drinks and snacks. Call Beth, if you are interested and/ or need help with a scholarship. Thanks! " I believe InterPlay has been the most useful "teacher education" classes that I ever took...especially helpful in working through discipline issues and making my classes more engaging. They are also really helpful in individual counseling sessions. I believe that IP addresses the "person" of the teacher/counselor so that they can be more present to students and bring more of themselves to the classroom experience. " Sharie Bowman

Cost: $95.00 including lunch, drinks, and snacks.
