Friday, November 5, 2p-5p, 7p-9p (includes DOBO)

InterPlay is used by therapists, healers, those in recovery and otherwise happy people. Explore why this holistic, creative, easy going practice supports mental health without making a huge deal out of it. In particular, we will look at the process of "dancing on behalf of" (DOBO) and the powerful ways it creates shifts in ourselves and others.

Over the past year, a free "D.O.B.O" has been held on the first Friday night of the month at InterPlayce. Members and friends of the InterPlay community gather to dance on behalf of the cares and concerns of the community and the world. This workshop will include participation in the D.O.B.O. that same evening, Friday, November 5, 2010.

In this session we'll playfully unlock:

  • all five freedoms of body intelligence
  • joyful ways to witness and affirm
  • healing rituals inspired by beginnings, middles and ends
  • essential ingredients in healthy interactions
  • how to structure a DOBO: a dance on behalf of
