Time To Savor & Time for Intention

InterPlayce New Year's Celebration!

New Year's Two-Day Event: 12/31/10 and 1/1/11
Penelope Mann, Gretchen Wegner, and Cynthia Winton-Henry

Oakland, CA

Friday, December 31, 2010 & Saturday, January 1, 2011

Penny Mann returns to the Bay Area to help us get to 1/1/11! She joins Gretchen Wegner and Cynthia Winton-Henry for a great day leading up to a New Years Eve bash and a wonderful followup on New Years Day.

Friday: Day for Savoring

2-5 • Savor and tell stories about the year using vocal variety and the magic of >InterPlay

New Year's Eve

7:30-9:00 • Cynthia leads the annual pine branch and candle light spiral dance to honor and release the year with movement, song, and music. Guests and witnesses are welcome. Free time after that to dance, chat and connect as long as you last!

Saturday: Day for Intentions

10-12:30 • InterPlay lets us listen to the wisdom of our bodies and incline our minds toward what is truly moving in our hearts. We will play with the power of intention, as well as its trickster side (which balances heavy self-expectations and the pressure to "improve" ourselves). We'll also explore how small shifts serve as tugboats to move big things in our lives.

12:30-2 • lunch and naps. Bring your lunch (restaurants may be closed)

2-4:30 • Enjoy the interconnection of our hopes and desires as we share our own intentions and witness others'. Through the power of community, we will notice how intending the best for ourselves can also bring benefit to others.

Cost: Sliding scale $79-$129
