Betsy Wetzig, choreographer, educator, author and movement/mind researcher, is the originator and director of Wetzig Coordination Pattern™ Training... InterPlay's Thrust, Shape, Swing and Hang. She presents internationally for business, educational and artistic audiences. Along with Dr Patricia Pinciatti she created Full Potential Learning. She was a director/performer for both her Wetzig Dance Company, and Sounds Shapes, in New York City and has taught all levels of movement/dance and mind/body education from early childhood on, through the college level. She co-authored with Dr. Ginny Whitelaw, Move to Greatness: Focusing on Four Essential Energies of a Whole and Balanced Leader and her Coordination Pattern™ work for dance education is included in Anne Gilbert’s Brain-Compatible Dance Education 2006 and Constance Schrader’s A Sense of Dance: Exploring Your Movement Potential 1996. Dancers worldwide continue to use her techniques for choreography, improvisation and performance training.
