November 6, 2011, Sunday, 1:30 - 4:00 pm

Co-Leader Asayo Horibe President, Buddhist Council of the Midwest. Compassion lies at the heart of a peaceful self and a peaceful world. Even amid troubled times, humanity as a whole can move toward peace. Learn how the Four Noble Truths in Buddhism and Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount reflect a call for compassion. Using the creative process of InterPlay we’ll explore movement meditation, storytelling and stillness. Learn to 'Dance On Behalf Of" our concerns for self, others and the world. Solo/group encounters and reflections help us cultivate compassion when life is in turmoil. Come join in creating compassionate community!
