“99%” Storytelling
Oakland, CA
Saturday, December 3rd • 2-5 pm
Have you been involved in, watchful of or changed by the events of the “99%/Occupy” movements over the last few months? Would you like a chance to tell your stories and hear stories from others?
Join us for an afternoon of lively sharing of personal accounts of this lively movement. What have you done? What have you seen? How have you been moved or changed? This is a space specifically for sharing our experiences and engaging in respectful listening.
Let's let our stories lead us to into a more just world, regardless of how you feel about the way the movement is being named or shaped!
Organized and hosted by Emily Ann Hartnett Webb, Starr King School for the Ministry student along with Phil Porter, InterPlay co-founder and “movement participant.” We will use some of the simple techniques of InterPlay to tell our stories, but you need absolutely no previous InterPlay experience in order to take part. Expect to laugh and be moved, to connect with others and to see your own experiences in new ways.
