InterPlay Master Teachers Ginny Going and Tom Henderson from the US will teach two workshops in Deventer, Netherlands, on May 26 & 27, 2012.

InterPlay is an easy-to-learn set of ideas and practices based in movement, voice, story and stillness. It is presented in an easily accessible way, step-by-step. Participants from all over the world are people who are looking for more joy and ease in life. The simple playful yet profound ideas and practices of InterPlay create bridges across the deepest chasms of gender, ethnicity, age and culture. In these times of rapid global change, InterPlay helps people to overcome stress and have more ease in their lives. It is a practice that any body can do as there is no ‘wrong way’ to do it! It requires no previous experience of any kind and respects limitations while celebrating the possibilities of everyone.

Both workshops will be taught in English but almost all of the practices can also be done in your own language. Each day workshop will cover different material. Come to either or both.

MAY 26 SATURDAY, 10 am to 5 pm • Introducing InterPlay: A Creative Practice For Our Times

This workshop will introduce you to the basics of InterPlay with gentle, guided activities, sharing and lots of relaxation and laughter. In InterPlay we create in the moment through life experiences. You may be surprised by what comes through you in a 30-second story, a three-breath song or a one-hand dance. InterPlay is devoted to fun, ease and affirmation. And it reconnects us with the wisdom of our bodies. We gain insights from the simplest of activities – learning through playing. Come join the play!

MAY 27 SUNDAY, 10 am to 5 pm • Introducing InterPlay: Ease Into Connection and Community

This introductory workshop will offer a variety of InterPlay ideas and practices with an emphasis on how they build and foster community. InterPlay is a proven means of creating communities of diversity and acceptance. It is taught and used world-wide as a creative process for personal and community transformation. It can be applied in relationships, in group projects and in many areas of life: listening in new ways, speaking with greater ease, learning to find the fun, play and possibilities for connection in everyday situations.
