Step UP and Move to End Violence

One Billion Rising, across the globe

CC King

Concord, MA

February 14 at 5PM

Show the world that violence against women and girls is a central issue of our time and will no longer be tolerated. Gather to shout, sing, move and call for freedom from violence for all of our sisters and brothers. Play in an InterPLay ritual with Caution Tape. Your involvement will help send the message that this movement is an unstoppable global force. Together, we will shake the world on 14 February 2013, demanding an end to violence against women and girls around the world! Followed by: a performance of Eve Ensler's Obie Award-winning VAGINA MONOLOGUES, a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who "liked to look at it." Come at 4:30 to be part of the "Instigating Team".

Cost: FREE to rally; donation to Vagina Monologues
