Open House for All InterPlayers at InPlay

Join the monthly group of experienced InterPlayers for October

Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 9:30am to 4:30pm

InPlay is extending an invitation to all interested InterPlayers to come and experience the InPlay Day on October 12th, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm at Seekers Church, for a donation of $10 at the door. Just before lunch there will be a short talk about the Life Practice Program followed by a potluck lunch when participants will be open for questions and sharing about Life Practice and InPlay. If you think you are interested, please email lizlescault@gmail.com so we can get a general head count. In short InPlay is a group that meets every second Saturday of the month from Sept. through June, 9:30 am to 5 pm. Members must be graduates of Life Practice and currently pay annual dues of $110. The group is self-led by members of InPlay. InPlay also offers workshops to the larger InterPlay community.

Liz Lescault, a visual artist and sculptor, has practiced, exhibited and taught art for over 40 years. She founded the DC Open Gathering and continues to coordinate the Open Gathering for the DC InterPlay community which serves the metropolitan region. She is also a member of the DC InterPlay Organizing Body. She currently leads  "Art Lab " for Smith Center and the Healing Arts. Formerly, Liz, was a hotline crisis counselor, for various suicide prevention lifelines and The Trevor Project providing help for LGBTQ youth in crisis and the Prince Georges County Homeless Hotline. Liz has also led InterPlay for elders with chronic illness and cognitive disabilities at Iona Senior Center in Washington DC.
