Performing The Book: “Warrior Mother”

Just back from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and performance events in Atlanta and Pittsburgh, author and improvisational artist Sheila K. Collins, will read and perform themes suggested by her book, Warrior Mother: Fierce Love, Unbearable Loss and Rituals that Heal. She will be assisted by members of the Bay Area InterPlay community.
Sheila has developed InterPlay communities in both Texas and Pennsylvania and currently serves as President of the Board of Body Wisdom, Inc., the non-profit that supports all things InterPlay.

She’s been known to travel the country enlisting InterPlayers to help her Perform her Books, demonstrating how InterPlay tools help us get through life’s ordinary and extraordinary, “tough challenges”
Her latest book, The Art of Grieving: How Art and Artmaking Help Us Grieve, and Live Our Best Lives explores how the arts of storytelling, dance, music, and visual arts help mourners navigate episodes of grief, process loss, and extract meaning and wisdom for their future lives.
