The performance chemistry was so strong between poet Alison Luterman and James Schattauer during their Valentine's concert that they're doing it again!
Alison Luterman will be reading poems from her newest collection Desire Zoo, as well as her two previous books, The Largest Possible Life and See How We Almost Fly.
Alison’s poems are vivid, frequently funny, very human vignettes of the love and trouble we get ourselves into. Alison is a member of the InterPlay-based WING IT! Performance Ensemble.
Singer songwriter, James Schattauer, will be performing music from his new CD called “ONE,” a collection of original songs that celebrate the many colors of love and compassion. James, a long-time InterPlayer, is from St. Paul, Minnesota.

InterPlayce is the center of the InterPlay universe. The offices for Body Wisdom, Inc. are also located here. The building is at the corner of 23rd and Telegraph, one block north of West Grand. It is just a few blocks from the 19th Street Downtown Oakland BART station, and on several convenient bus lines. On-street parking is always available at night and metered during the day. It is also easily accessible by several of the major freeways.

Alison Luterman
Alison Luterman is a poet whose work has been seen on public transit, in various magazines and anthologies including The Sun, Revenge and Forgiveness. Her book of poems, The Largest Possible Life, is available through Body Wisdom. She is also a playwright,essayist, creative writing teacher, and a member of WING IT!
James Schattauer
James Schattauer (www.jamesschattauer.com) has been an InterPlay enthusiast for over 14 years. As a certified teacher of InterPlay, he leads groups of adults and young children in the delight of improvised play. Using movement, spoken word and music making, James helps create a safe playground for participants to enjoy the freedom of self-expression. His musical talents as a singer, song-maker and guitarist, distinguish his offerings as an InterPlay leader.
