Mysterious and familiar, Pritchard’s painterly murals portray dreamscapes populated by figures that resemble old-world marionettes. Her images evoke the magical exuberance of paintings by Marc Chagall and the sensuous gilded figures of Gustav Klimt. Constructed of fabrics in an astonishing array of colors and textures, the hangings are like bas-relief sculptures. Pritchard’s murals also tell stories, chronicling a quest for wholeness and peace.
