Cultivate inner authority and going the speed of the body in the lively, creative, nourishing balm of a Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Community devoted to unlocking the wisdom of our bodies.

Each session you will get an embodied experience of the InterPlay Forms & Tools. You'll unlock energy and insights through movement, word, voice, and interconnection at many levels. The facilitators have extensive experience leading on zoom. They will create an embodied spacious environment.

The Elements of the BIPOC Life Practice Program

Opening & Closing Retreats Dates TBD
Bask in the lively, creative, nourishing balm of a Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Community devoted to unlocking the wisdom of our bodies.

4 SATURDAYS: 1-3:30 pm ET (Dates TBD) for play and practice, building community, focus sessions, and art expressions.

Receive three focus sessions during which you receive personal support from the program leaders to learn how to access your body wisdom, learn a new tool/skill, and apply it to whatever situation you desire.

• A Body-Spirit Celebration during the final retreat to play with the InterPlay forms and share them with each other in a celebratory and honoring way.

• Apply InterPlay insights to your own life through reading, writing and art expression.

Online Self-Study and other tools of the InterPlay system that will give you a more in-depth understanding of how InterPlay works.

Life Practice Program Attendance
Community building is an integral part of the InterPlay system. To experience the most out of a Secrets of InterPlay weekend or the Life Practice Program, we recommend that you attend all of the sessions. This immersion program into the forms and tools of InterPlay is most effective when the group can stay together over time. If you are considering becoming an InterPlay leader, participation and attendance for the full program, including attending a Secrets of InterPlay weekend, will be necessary to complete the Life Practice Program, which is the first step in becoming a certified InterPlay leader. The Secrets of InterPlay multi-day event is part of the Life Practice Program. You can attend any Secrets of InterPlay weekend at any time, before or after the Life Practice weekends, to complete the program. Attending a Secrets of InterPlay is an important element if you wish to go on to the InterPlay Leader Training Program.

Continuing Education Credit
40 CE credits for various healthcare and allied healthcare professions are available for those practicing throughout the U.S. and for educators only practicing in Illinois. CE pre-registration is required 2 weeks before the start of your event. Email interplaychicago@sbcglobal.net to APPLY for CEUs. There is a charge of $25-$40 per program. CEUs are offered through Continuing Education Institute of Illinois or R. Cassidy Seminars.

Repeating the Program
Anyone who has previously completed the Life Practice Program is eligible for the $750 repeater rate.

Ade Anifowose

Ade is a Certified InterPlay Leader, Mindset Coach. Intuitive Healer and Podcaster. For over 25 years, Ade has devoted his life to being both a student and teacher of ancient wisdom. He is known for his optimism and ability to put people at ease while tapping into the inner wisdom of the soul. His unique approach opens the minds of his clients so they can more easily and effectively approach life head-on and find the help and answers they seek.

Ade is a lover of humanity who is passionate about creating outstanding new and unique gifts of healing for the world. Grounded in universal principles and healing arts, he uses his podcast, interactive playshops, storytelling, the arts, sacred drumming, and social media, to supports people in shifting their consciousness. Ade has a deep passion for helping people to connect with their unique sense of self and is dedicated to inspiring people to live from the confidence of their truest self.

Masankho Banda

Masankho is a multi - disciplinary Performing Artist, Certified InterPlay Leader, Educator and PeaceBuilder. He brings many unique perspectives to his work around the world. He learned the fine arts of storytelling and dance from his Malawian culture spending many long days and nights listening to stories and dancing to music that captivated his mind, shaped his being, nourished his soul and strengthened his spirit. Using performing arts Masankho motivates and inspires people of all ages to work together to bring about peace, social justice and cultural understanding. In 1997, he started UCanDanc—African Healing Arts to bring his passion for dance and storytelling to communities around the world. Masankho has been a Certified InterPlay Leader since 1999.

Carolyn Renée
Carolyn Renée Morris (she/her) is a teaching and healing artist with more than a decade of service/experience in the creative and healing arts. She’s the former executive director of the ArtsXchange, a 37-year-old art and social change organization, and Alternate ROOTS, a 44-year-old social justice organization lifting up art as activism in the Southeast USA. Carolyn Renée is committed to the pursuit of art and social justice, health, and well-being for BIPOC on the frontlines of advancing justice. She is a certified InterPlay Leader and in 2008 became a health and wellness practitioner to heal herself from an illness which led to combining the healing and creative arts. With InterPlay, she creates Sacred Space for BIPOC and partners with USA/Ghana-based A Life of Peace Wellness Education Institute to ensure every home has an engaged artist/healer. She goes by “Carolyn Renée.”
