International Day of InterPlay Celebration & Fundraiser: Minneapolis

On October 24, 2015 come join InterPlayers from around the world gathering in local groups to celebrate the culmination of the 25th year of InterPlay. Minneapolis guests, who will gather at Mayflower Church will be connecting via live webcast to a dozen groups in other regions.
We will lift up the amazing ways that InterPlay has spread to other parts of the country and the world, honor wonderful leaders both in and around InterPlay communities with “Spirit of InterPlay” awards, hear inspiring stories, invite everyone to contribute and, of course, play.
Come experience the InterPlay movement by connecting and playing live with InterPlayers in over a dozen different cities!
One of the current goals of the celebration of our 25th year is to add 25 new people to the Giving Wings Society, the folks who make long-term (5 years), incremental (month by month or year by year) contributions to InterPlay. Learn more about this current Giving Wings initiative.
Other events will be held in Seattle, Kansas City, Des Moines, Berkeley, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Atlanta, Raleigh, Washington DC, Boston, New Haven and Chicago. More about the events in other cities.

Mayflower Congregational Church
Marty Roddy has been creating all his life: writing and telling stories, dancing, singing, creating connections with individuals and social movements and designing ritual for many types of communities and events. InterPlay allows him to combine all his passions in helping unlock the creative power within each body and within the GroupBody of communities large and small.
His formal education includes undergraduate work in Literature and Peace Studies at Clarke College, as well as graduate work in Theology and the Arts at United Seminary of the Twin Cities. He was introduced to InterPlay in 1996, is a Certified InterPlay Teacher offering many types of classes and workshops, and performs with SoulPlay Performance Ensemble.
As a teacher he shares an abundant heart and encouraging wisdom, knowing that all bodies are full of beauty and playful soul.
Hi! I am one of the many wonderful leaders for the Twin Cities' InterPlay community. You will find me at most of the PlayGroups happening, and am the usual leader in our Sunday night group, and share leadership on Wednesday mornings
I am a wildly happy, playful and energetic person, with much to offer anyone who wants to enter into a spirit of creative play with me!
