The Three Directives and the Tree of Life

Come bless the way forward by honoring the sacred nature of all of life.
Cynthia Winton-Henry

Seattle, WA

Sunday, January 6th 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm (Beginning with potluck appetizers at 5 pm)

Last year I asked an indigenous elder about the troubles that so many of us are facing. His response? “It's Earth.” Let’s bless right relationship with Earth.

I said, “I'm a dancer, who has struggled a long time to bring people back to the dance. He laughed. “I’m not a dancer, I am singer. Dancing speaks to the outer world. Singing speaks to the inner world.” Dance, Song, Story, and Stillness are sacred technologies born from Earth Wisdom. Let’s bless our sacred ways. Long ago when a great, wise voice said to me, “These are your three directives: Efficiency of Energy, Clarity of Vision, Courage to Love.” Holy GPS! I baked them into InterPlay’s body wisdom. Let’s bless the directives of your individual and collective energy, visions, and love-power.

The gathering culminates in a Tree of Life Spiral Dance.

Bring Branches, Candles, Symbols to Honor a vision or dream.
