POETRY in Motion~Part 2!

Playing with the power of words & ideas to transform us and our world

Chicago, IL

Saturday, JUNE 8
10-11:30 am and/or 1:00-3:30 pm

In celebration of the poet Mary Oliver’s passing, Jane invites you to explore how the InterPlay forms and tools help us unlock the wisdom of our words, movement, sound and art. Bring in your own poems that inspire you, or be surprised at the ones we suggest. We will play with movement, voice and you’ll have the opportunity to create your own “BodyPOEMS.”
“…the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh, and exciting— over and over announcing your place in the family of things.”
Excerpt from Wild Geese by Mary Oliver
InterPlay is a global social movement dedicated to ease, connection, human sustainability and play. It helps us connect & renew body, mind, heart, and spirit. Through movement, storytelling, & sound, we open up to what works best for us, what gives us purpose, and what makes us feel fully alive. These monthly sessions give you InterPlay’s tools for personal growth and transformation through movement & stillness, story & reflection, sound & voice. No prior experience is needed.
