Community Day 2019

Celebrating 30 Years of Interplay
Hannah Mitchell, Celia Swanson, Barbra Wiener, and Spruce Krause

Saturday - October 26 from 10 am -3:30 pm

Come spend all or part of the day with our local InterPlay community (and guests!), moving, making music, and sharing our stories.

Did you know that InterPlay is celebrating THIRTY YEARS of existence?!? Wow! Come help us celebrate that milestone

Fun new and old forms led by local leaders, and a chance for all of us to share space and Play with each other. Bring friends whom you'd like to introduce to InterPlay! Encourage PlayFriends who have fallen away to join us again!

Bring:
  • Food and/or beverages to share for a pot-luck lunch
  • Cash/checkbook so you can bid on the goodies on the silent auction, with many items and fun activities offered.

If you are interested in offering an item or adventure to help us raise money for our local community, contact Barb Lager (so she can make signage), or just bring it to the event.

Can't wait to see you all!!

Between Lyndale and Garfield Avenues on 28th street. PARKING: In parking lot next to building park at "SpringHouse Only" Signs (6) and spaces with no signs (20). The only place you can't park at are signs that say "24 Hr Reserved". There is also street parking on Lyndale and 28th and a big lot behind the Jungle Theater.

Hi! I am one of the many wonderful leaders for the Twin Cities' InterPlay community. You will find me at most of the PlayGroups happening, and am the usual leader in our Sunday night group, and share leadership on Wednesday mornings

I am a wildly happy, playful and energetic person, with much to offer anyone who wants to enter into a spirit of creative play with me!

I am also available to teach specialized workshops and courses, to provide ceremonial services, and to offer coaching in personalized sessions using InterPlay, including:

Barbra Wiener
Barbra Wiener is an InterPlay leader in Minnesota. She has been involved with InterpPlay for 20 years and leads classes and playgroups in her beloved Twin Cities community. Barbra is a proud InterPlay board member She is visiting faculty leading InterPlay annually at HEART, an intensive immersion in integrative medicine for medical students. She has been involved with many forms of health and wellness throughout her career. She has an MA degree in human development, has worked as a Child Life Specialist at Children's Hospital, had a therapeutic massage practice, was the founder and director of the Women's Cancer Resource Center in Minneapolis and is a health and social justice activist. InterPlay allows her to combine all her passions in helping unlock the creative power within each body and within the group body of communities large and small.
