Jane Siarny
Jane Siarny is dedicated to uplifting the human spirit through creativity, community building, and body-wise practices. At the 1991 National Sacred Dance Guild Festival, Jane discovered InterPlay and its co-creators, Phil Porter and Cynthia Winton-Henry. Jane was looking for something that would integrate her love of voice, music, improvisational movement and storytelling. With InterPlay she is able to integrate all these expressions and find a community based in affirmation, authenticity and the celebration of the human spirit.

In 1992 she co-founded OUTABOUNDS Performance Company that was housed at the Chicago Cultural Center where Jane directed the Hedwig School of Dance and the Dance Discovery Series. The company performed and taught workshops throughout the U.S.

Since co-founding InterPlay Chicago in 1994, Jane has been instrumental in leading the Life Practice Program to help people integrate the InterPlay philosophy and practices into their lives. She also serves as a Mentor in the InterPlay Leader Training Program and as Coordinator of the Life Practice Program. She is delighted to be collaborating with so many gifted InterPlay Leaders to Change the World One Play at a Time.
Phil Porter
Phil is one of the founders of InterPlay. He is a teacher, performer, writer, and organizer. With Cynthia Winton-Henry he is the co-founder of WING IT! Performance Ensemble, and has written several books, some in collaboration with Cynthia, including Having It All: Body, Mind, Heart & Spirit Together Again at Last and The Slightly Mad Rantings of a Body Intellectual Part One. Phil is particularly interested in the use of InterPlay in organizational life, and believes that InterPlay can be a powerful tool to create communities of diversity and peace.
