Go on a storytelling journey that celebrates our shared humanity using InterPlay tools and forms to center stories from around the world. We will share stories beyond the external authority that marginalizes us and use them to unite us. This workshop is for the BIPOC community to share our stories with each other.

Start your day with a story, listen to one over lunch or have yourself a bedtime story... no matter where you are in the world, there is a story for you.

Participation in this workshop is free, however, you may donate to the BIPOC fund if you wish to support this work.

Sukhmani Kohli
Sukhmani uses theatre, clowning, body wisdom practices and her skills as an empathetic facilitator to assist others in releasing shame and practice self acceptance. She first experienced InterPlay in 2014 when she participated in the Arts and Social Change Millennial program in California. She has been leading InterPlay ever since. She believes practices like interplay are powerful entry points for moving through conflict and connecting with your own sense of magic, moving from scarceness to abundance. She works with children, young adults, working professionals, communities and organisations. She runs Purple Mangoes, a company of facilitators who call themselves experience builders, gleaners and artists.
Lois Toni McClendon
Lois "Toni" McClendon (she/her) is a Storyteller in the African American Oral Tradition, as well as a peace & social justice activist. Toni serves on the Board of Body Wisdom as Secretary. She is a Life Practice Program Leader and a Certified InterPlay leader from Pittsburgh PA USA. Always walking the Beauty Way, Toni believes in building Bridges to Unterstanding between people of all ages from around the world. She is totally committed to Racial Equity and Transformation and strives to emodying the principles and practices of InterPlay in her life's work.Toni is also a member of ABAFASI, a women's West African-style drumming and performance group.
Carolyn Renée
Carolyn Renée Morris, also known as “Carolyn Renée,” is a Naturopathic Wellness Practitioner and former faculty member at A Life Of Peace Wellness Education Institute, an accredited school by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. As a Certified InterPlay Leader, Yoga Instructor, and Teaching Artist, she part-time teaches yoga at the YMCA and co-directs an InterPlay performance group. Through her work, she aims to unite communities at the intersection of the healing and creative arts, finding fulfillment in collaborating globally on art-infused projects that incorporate healing modalities.
