Sustain your energy in the middle of the week with this dynamic fun group of InterPlayers. We explore the forms in depth, experimenting and reconnecting with our capacity to experience fun and joy. We hope you will join us at the Twin Cities Friends Meeting House, a sunny, spacious place. Doors open at 10am, warm up starts at 10:15.

Cost: $10- $20 suggested (no one turned away for lack of funds)

Heather Baradan
Heather Baradan (aka Gigi) likes to say that she works in "The Joy Department". She is a life-long student and teacher of many healing modalities, including laughter, play, spiritual deepening and flu shots.
Her final paper for her bachelor's degree in religion was on Earth-Based Spirituality.
For her doctorate in pharmacy, it was on the "best medicine" - LAUGHTER!
And for InterPlay it was... wait... no final paper required!

Nicola Kapala
Nicola has been facilitating experiences for individuals and groups for over twenty years. Her "special sauce" lies in her ability to design experiences that create a container for discovery and authentic connections to occur. Working across industries, Nicola drawn on her diverse background in business and integrative health to bring people together in meaningful ways. She's known for her warm, playful style and propensity for finding interesting ways to invite people to play in water and on land.

Hi! I am one of the many wonderful leaders for the Twin Cities' InterPlay community. You will find me at most of the PlayGroups happening, and am the usual leader in our Sunday night group, and share leadership on Wednesday mornings

I am a wildly happy, playful and energetic person, with much to offer anyone who wants to enter into a spirit of creative play with me!

Barbra Wiener
Barbra Wiener is an InterPlay leader in Minnesota. She has been involved with InterpPlay for 20 years and leads classes and playgroups in her beloved Twin Cities community. Barbra is a proud InterPlay board member She is visiting faculty leading InterPlay annually at HEART, an intensive immersion in integrative medicine for medical students. She has been involved with many forms of health and wellness throughout her career. She has an MA degree in human development, has worked as a Child Life Specialist at Children's Hospital, had a therapeutic massage practice, was the founder and director of the Women's Cancer Resource Center in Minneapolis and is a health and social justice activist. InterPlay allows her to combine all her passions in helping unlock the creative power within each body and within the group body of communities large and small.
Slow Down
Slow is a youth worker and spiritual seeker. She runs her own business "BodyConnect" leading InterPlay in schools and community centers with folks of all ages. She is passionate about justice, personal development, and creative expression. She has been doing InterPlay for 7 years and leading for about 3. She lives in a community house and has a graduate degree in Youth Development from the University of Minnesota.
Milissa Link
Milissa is an active, engaged leader and follower in the Twin Cities InterPlay community. She has found InterPlay to be profoundly transformative and healing since the death of her first husband in 2014. Certified as a leader in 2024, 10 years after that profound loss, she helps others move with their joys, sorrows and aspirations through life's evolution. Milissa has an extensive background as a yoga and meditation teacher, teaching classes and leading retreats internationally. She created an early childhood yoga program for at-risk children called Peaceful Preschooler and continues to teach within the Minneapolis immigrant community. She is also a craniosacral therapy practitioner and energy worker. Milissa currently leads playgroups in St Paul, MN and will offer private focus sessions as part of her healing arts practice. In the warmer months Milissa offers Tree Play, a chance to play in a natural setting within an hour of St Paul.
TraceyJoy Miller
TraceyJoy has been InterPlaying since 1999. She discovered InterPlay in the Twin Cities, trained as an InterPlay leader in Oakland for three years; live and led InterPlay in the Seattle area for 12 years before returning to the Twin Cities in 2022. Since her 20’s she has studied and applied a variety of approaches to accessing the wisdom of her body and healing. And, she loves supporting others to do the same. She spent many years committed to working on herself; working to become “good enough”. Thankfully InterPlay has brought a balance of levity, playfulness, and community to her life long, sincere explorations as a human being. She considers herself a “Recovering Serious Person”.
Marty Roddy

Marty Roddy has been creating all his life: writing and telling stories, dancing, singing, creating connections with individuals and social movements and designing ritual for many types of communities and events. InterPlay allows him to combine all his passions in helping unlock the creative power within each body and within the GroupBody of communities large and small.

His formal education includes undergraduate work in Literature and Peace Studies at Clarke College, as well as graduate work in Theology and the Arts at United Seminary of the Twin Cities. He was introduced to InterPlay in 1996, is a Certified InterPlay Teacher offering many types of classes and workshops, and performs with SoulPlay Performance Ensemble.

As a teacher he shares an abundant heart and encouraging wisdom, knowing that all bodies are full of beauty and playful soul.
