Maryellen May is a certified InterPlay leader based in Bloomington, Indiana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Global Studies from Earlham College and a master’s degree in Journalism from Indiana University. Maryellen became a certified InterPlay leader in 2021 and now facilitates in-person InterPlay gatherings that invite participants to connect, move, play, and explore in a welcoming, supportive environment. She is available to lead local playgroups, retreats, workshops, and special events. Using simple, guided forms that incorporate movement, sound, stillness, and storytelling, InterPlay invites participants to become more present, expressive, and connected to themselves and others. Everyone can do it, and every activity is guided. It can be playful, releasing, introspective, surprising, and wonderfully easy to enter into.
