Why BIPOC ONLY?
BIPOC communities continue to be disproportionately impacted. As documented by major institutions such as the Brookings Institution and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — among others — data repeatedly shows that BIPOC communities face disproportionate burden from public-health crises, economic inequality, and systemic injustice. While many communities are affected by global and societal traumas, the historical and ongoing trauma experienced by BIPOC peoples — rooted in colonization, generational loss, and entrenched inequality — runs especially deep.
InterPlay offers unique body wisdom tools and practices that provide release and relief, empowering individuals through Focus Sessions to heal and reclaim their strength.
***The Playful HUE is an evolving hub of connection within the Melanated InterPlay community. It currently includes two offerings: the monthly InterPlay BIPOC Points of Collaboration gathering, and the BIPOC Loving Container Focus Session, which is available by request. Together, they offer space for joy, reflection, and healing through embodied practice.***
Come be part of these BIPOC-focused offerings—see the list below.
Cost: FREE and donations to InterPlay welcome!
