A great way to begin 2006 in a beautiful and unique retreat setting near Greensboro, N.C. We'll come together to tell stories, dance, sing, rest, reflect on the old year and anticipate the new. Enjoy walks around the lake in the crisp air, warm fires and wonderful companions. A grace-filled way to celebrate the turning point from one year to the next. Come for community, laughter and creative play with people who will affirm and applaud you. This retreat also satisfies one of the requirements of the InterPlay Leadership Program. Cost: Tuition, housing and food (two options): (1) dorm with bunk beds, shared bath - $350 per person; or (2) double occupancy room with twin beds & private bath - $400 per person

Summit Conference Center is located on 200 wooded acres just 15 minutes north of Greensboro an 25 minutes from the Piedmont Triad International Airport. The main lodge overlooks a six-acres spring-fed lake and there are 5 miles of hiking trails. A boardwalk takes you through the Haw Rivers wetlands, giving you a close encounter with one of North Carolina's most unique ecosystems. Housing options include motel-style rooms for two with private bathroom and dorm housing with shared baths.

As a recovering serious person, I consider InterPlay my 12-step program and my life practice for having more ease and grace. I've been InterPlaying for 27 years and have watched the blooming and spread of InterPlay all over the world with gratefulness and delight.
For the past 13 years I've been immersed in the development and growth of the Leader Training Program and currently serve as the program coordinator. I love offering people the "big body" tools of InterPlay for telling their stories, especially people on the margins of our communities. I am also passionate about embodied spirituality, engaging people in prayer and worship forms that include and honor the body. It has been an amazing experience to participate in and teach InterPlay in many places around the world.
Currently the Leader Training Program is being reshaped to integrate Racial Equity and Transformation into all aspects of InterPlay leader training. This is truly an exciting and exhilerating time to be part of the world-wide community of InterPlay!
