This non-residential four-day workshop at InterPlayce covers the techniques and body wisdom principles of InterPlay. Learn to lead your life in a more embodied, playful way. Unlock the wisdom of the body! Reclaim voice, movement, stillness, and your stories as primary ways of knowing. Ground yourself in a communal ethic of play to replace stress with health, creativity, joy, and purpose. Learn from InterPlay co-founder Cynthia Winton-Henry about specific ways to deepen the practice of honoring body wisdom in you and your community. Secrets of InterPlay is part of the core curriculum for those enrolled in the InterPlay Life Practice Program. This workshop is also open to anyone desiring an in-depth introduction to InterPlay.

InterPlayce is the center of the InterPlay universe. The offices for Body Wisdom, Inc. are also located here. The building is at the corner of 23rd and Telegraph, one block north of West Grand. It is just a few blocks from the 19th Street Downtown Oakland BART station, and on several convenient bus lines. On-street parking is always available at night and metered during the day. It is also easily accessible by several of the major freeways.

Cynthia Winton-Henry, co-founder of InterPlay with Phil Porter, has researched "what the body wants" in the arts, in jails, shelters, slums, hospitals, churches, businesses, classrooms, doctoral programs in theology and the arts, and in multicultural education. She develops somatic curriculums to address racism, leadership for the Earth, and spiritual intelligence with an eye to supporting millennials. Amy Smith, BCC
Amy Smith is a hospice chaplain with Four Seasons Hospice in Flat Rock, N.C. A
Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains since
1999, she has over 30 years experience in healthcare, the last 22 years working
in a community hospice setting. Amy is a certified InterPlay leader, grief support
group facilitator, and community educator, specializing in end-of-life issues, grief
and bereavement, compassion fatigue and resilience. She lives in Western North
Carolina near National and State Forests and is an avid hiker, photographer, and
Native American flute player. Amy blends her arts background and deep
compassion as she accompanies individuals and groups in facing the Big
Questions and Annoying Limitations that are part of being human in this world.
