InterPlay writers and lovers of word! Taste the fruits of our writing talent. An opportunity to share your work with the InterPlay community. Be it poetry, fiction, playwriting or songs, come read and witness in an affirming atmosphere. We’ll play a little with InterPlay forms and celebrate the power of words. Come to read or just listen. Room for 15 maximum. Advance registration required.

Cost: donation to InterPlay Scholarship Fund

Terry McCarthy
Terry McCarthy is a musician, teacher, performing artist with 20 years’ experience teaching InterPlay. He is a founding member of Off the Deep End Ensemble and former director of Inner Voices vocal ensemble. He and his wife Laurece West led InterPlay performance troupe Impromptu Players. Laurece and Terry write and perform their original songs together. Terry is a former elementary school teacher with a BS degree in Arts for Children with Music Emphasis. He teaches InterPlay playgroups, performance, storytelling and writing classes. Terry has served as a bodyspirit mentor with the Raleigh InterPlay Life Practice Program for over 6 years.
Oliver Crichton
Oliver Crichton performs with Off the Deep end Ensemble, co-leads a monthly playgroup, teaches InterPlay classes on writing/poetry, and co-hosts quarterly Word Share evenings where Interplayers gather to read and perform their writing. He is a regional leader and teacher of Johrei healing and works as a Medical Communications Specialist on a medical hotline.
