Please come and join us for an Interplay Sings! workshop with Lauren Carley. Lauren will create a supportive environment to teach an easy, playful, introductory InterPlay and voiceplay workshop. Open to men and woman, ages 16 – 116, the workshop will include pigorian chant, humming dances and improvisatory operatic forays into the land of Blinken and Nod. Wrinkles in time will allow us to repossess our childhood visions of fairies in the grass and giant hummingbirds. You never know what fun you can get into with InterPlay, so come and join us for full body voice play.
By the way, you can do this from a chair or chaise, if you want, so don’t be deterred by your creaky knees. Come and have fun connecting with our hearts and sounding the rumble of voices against our bones!

Lauren Carley
Lauren Carley leads retreats, workshops and classes in Authentic Voice, teaches Circle Singing and Interplay Sings! and maintains a private vocal studio. She teaches The Joy of Singing! toseniors, baby boomers and active adults for the University of California at San Francisco?s and Berkeley?s Life Long Learning Programs and at Holy Names University. Her CD interprets the solo repertoire of Kurt Weill and she sings cabaret, recital oratorio, theatre and sacred music. A touring member of the a cappella Renaissance ensemble, Schola Adventus, she is also Artistic Director of the community choruses Variety Pack and Rhythm Society and Company Member and Music Director for the all-female Shakespeare Company, Woman?s Will.
