Come spend four days in this magical Pacific Northwest retreat setting, immersing yourself in InterPlay with this joy-making duo. Get grounded in InterPlay's tried and true forms and techniques that promote wonderful experiences of personal and community creativity. Used by enthusiasts from Bangkok to Boston, InterPlay is used in high schools, spiritual communities, workplaces, prisons, wherever people have something to share. Appropriate for people of all ages and abilities who enjoy creativity and desire more expression in community.
An “Untensive” is a multiple-day opportunity for play, community, relaxation, and reflection, held at a retreat center (where someone else is doing the cooking!) Beginning and advanced InterPlayers are welcome to attend.

Aldermarsh is a steward of over 11 acres of beautiful wetlands laced with walkways, flourishing gardens and teaming with wildlife. Phil Porter
Phil is one of the founders of InterPlay. He is a teacher, performer, writer, and organizer. With Cynthia Winton-Henry he is the co-founder of WING IT! Performance Ensemble, and has written several books, some in collaboration with Cynthia, including Having It All: Body, Mind, Heart & Spirit Together Again at Last and The Slightly Mad Rantings of a Body Intellectual Part One. Phil is particularly interested in the use of InterPlay in organizational life, and believes that InterPlay can be a powerful tool to create communities of diversity and peace.
Elizabeth Mendana Shaw
Elizabeth Mendana, MFA, is a member of the InterPlay-based Wing It! Performance Ensemble in Oakland, CA and is an international InterPlay leader and performer. She is versed in dance, theatre, and stage wisdom with a special gift for caring about people and art at the same time. The San Francisco Chronicle has called her dancing "Stunning" and "Hypnotic". She has performed with several San Francisco choreographers as well as presenting her own creative work with her company Mendana Productions. She has recently relocated to Seattle where she hopes to continue creating performance art, teach Pilates, and make a home.
