Come for a weekend and learn how to create peace with InterPlay’s passionate, effective approach to changing the world one play at a time! You will be amazed by this affirming practice. When people of different cultures, ideologies, and sexual orientations sing, dance and share stories, Cultures of Peace are possible.

This workshop is for anyone looking for more peace in life or seeking to promote it. InterPlay is being used by CEO’s, Pastors, Lawyers, Doctors, Professors, Teachers, Parents, Grandparents, Athletes, Actors, Dancers, Singers, Chaplains, Writers and so many more. Come and see that it is right for YOU too!

Masankho Banda and Soyinka Rahim work intergenerationally to build peace around the world. Come laugh and maybe even cry! Discover how to be more PEACEFUL.

Saturday morning includes a multi-generational session FREE and open to the public. This is one of the Cornerstone Events of the Bay Are National Dance Week. The weekend will conclude with a performance on Sunday afternoon which will also be FREE and open to the public.

Schedule: Friday 7-9 pm
Saturday 10am-noon (Multi-generational session); Afternoon and evening sessions until 9pm.
Sunday Begin at 10 am, 2-3:30 Performance

Course meets the qualifications for 14 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behaviorial Sciences. CEUs PE 2583. Refunds will be given up to two days before the event, minus a 20.00 processing fee.

InterPlayce is the center of the InterPlay universe. The offices for Body Wisdom, Inc. are also located here. The building is at the corner of 23rd and Telegraph, one block north of West Grand. It is just a few blocks from the 19th Street Downtown Oakland BART station, and on several convenient bus lines. On-street parking is always available at night and metered during the day. Soyinka Rahim
Soyinka Rahim (GSP) is a grassroots spiritual practitioner who is the founder and artistic director of BIBOLOVE.US which stands for "breathe in breathe out love." She was also the founder of OurThing Performing arts company, where she created the modern-day folk dance play An Altar Piece to Alter Peace, a multimedia, intergenerational performance piece for peace. Her work BIBOLOVE taps into the power of sound, movement and visual art, raising the love vibration of peace, love, joy, happiness, health, grace, and ease. BIBOLOVE supports our personal and collective life challenges by feeding the love frequencies for generational, cultural, racial, body, and economic unity.  Soyinka has brought her wisdom as a spiritual director, conference weaver and workshop leader to InterPlay Certified Life practice, Facing Race, National Association for Independent Schools for Teachers of Color,   Boys and Girls Clubs, Spiritual Directors International Conference, and the Parliament of World Religions.
Masankho Banda

Masankho is a multi - disciplinary Performing Artist, Certified InterPlay Leader, Educator and PeaceBuilder. He brings many unique perspectives to his work around the world. He learned the fine arts of storytelling and dance from his Malawian culture spending many long days and nights listening to stories and dancing to music that captivated his mind, shaped his being, nourished his soul and strengthened his spirit. Using performing arts Masankho motivates and inspires people of all ages to work together to bring about peace, social justice and cultural understanding. In 1997, he started UCanDanc—African Healing Arts to bring his passion for dance and storytelling to communities around the world. Masankho has been a Certified InterPlay Leader since 1999.
