Celebrating Cultures of Peace and Earthcare!!

Albuquerque, NM
Friday through Sunday Weekend! April 17th to 19th
Friday, April 17 – 7 to 9pm:
Pathways To Peace – An Interactive evening of Peace Stories, Dances & InterPlay
Building peace within ourselves and in our world is the most important thing we can do.
Masankho will share stories and insights from his global Peacebuilding work and how the arts of InterPlay, storytelling, dance and music can motivate and inspire people of all ages to work together to bring about peace.
Saturday, April 18 – 10am to 4:30pm:
Seeding Cultures Of Peace & EarthWisdom
Masankho leads an interactive, playful exploration of the foundational principles of InterPlay. He will lead us in developing and sharing an ethic of play to work for peace, justice and environmental responsibility in our world today.
Through play we experience diversity and explore common ground in order to move beyond tolerance toward multicultural health. Experience how learning to play again and listening to the wisdom of the body can energize social transformation and create cultures of peace that also honor and care for the earth.
Sunday, April 19 – 9:30 to 11am:
InterPlay in Worship
Join us for a worship service that celebrates the earth, reminding us that it is important for us to take care of our home. It is not that we will destroy the earth, it is more that we will destroy the earth’s ability to sustain life.
11:15-12noon Masankho will offer a special time with the youth and children
