Body as Prayer

Cynthia Winton-Henry

One day only! Sunday, April 25 • 2-5 pm

Seeking integration of body and spirit? Curious to sidestep the ego-mind and live from your inner trust? Ready for a spiritual practice that embraces the body and leads with joy and confidence? Discover resources for spirit-centered living.

This workshop offers a soulful place to discover, discern, and welcome the wisdom of the body through practices that develop ease in movement, voice, stillness, and sharing stories. Beginning with one-hand dances, one-breath songs, hand-to-hand movement with partners and thirty-second stories about light-hearted and meaningful topics, explore the power of witnessing, noticing and affirmation in soulwork. Explore InterPlay’s tools to enrich your spiritual life and practice:
• Dance on behalf of others
• “Exform” the information overload in our bodies
• Retrieve soul by including the body
• Nurture a physicality of grace
• Meditate through movement
• Discern through body wisdom
• Affirm and being affirmed.

InterPlay opens paths of connection between people of all sorts—in prisons, schools, between cultures and faiths. Great for spiritual leaders, healers, and anyone interested in reintegrating body, mind, heart, and spirit in an elegant, creative manner.
