Deep Play

Des Moines, IA
Saturday, June 16, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Are you ready to explore the power of play?
Would you welcome some shortcuts to finding ease and fun in an affirming group of grownup playmates?
Come as you are to InterPlay, an improvisational system that uses movement, voice, storytelling, song, and stillness. Indulge in a creative process that is rooted in ease and affirmation. Expect to have fun and feel refreshed and energized in body, mind, and spirit. What we’ll do - Using simple forms that any body can do, we will tell snippets of stories in the moment, take time for ourselves to move and rest in stillness, play games with sounds and songs as a group. See if you agree with Plato that you can learn more about someone in an hour of play than from a lifetime of conversation. All levels of ability and physical challenge are welcome.
Cost: $20.00
