Learn how you can use the tools and ideas of the 25 year-old system known across the world as InterPlay!
Experience your own creativity as it is sparked in a connecting, affirming community. This multi-day event will give you direct experience of many aspects of the InterPlay system, especially ways to unlock and trust the wisdom of your body.
This workshop/playshop is an important element of the InterPlay Life Practice Program being offered beginning in May in Kalamazoo, Michigan. InterPlay co-founder Phil Porter will be joined by Linda Schlabach Miller (Goshen, IN) who will be leading the Life Practice Program in May along with Barbara Toshalis (Kalamazoo, MI).
Cost: $350 tuition, $200 single room, $125 double or triple. $75 meals

Welcome to Amigo Centre, a retreat and recreation center for members of the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference congregations, their friends and the wider community. Amigo provides a unique environment where we gather to listen and share, play and worship, enjoy nature, creation and community. Situated on over 400 acres of woodland, marsh and lake, Amigo has a diverse, nearly untouched, ecosystem that is just waiting to be explored. Amigo is blessed with a diverse natural setting, and when you go hiking on our trails you have the privilege of experiencing the beauty of several ecosystems no matter which loop you choose to hike.

Phil Porter
Phil is one of the founders of InterPlay. He is a teacher, performer, writer, and organizer. With Cynthia Winton-Henry he is the co-founder of WING IT! Performance Ensemble, and has written several books, some in collaboration with Cynthia, including Having It All: Body, Mind, Heart & Spirit Together Again at Last and The Slightly Mad Rantings of a Body Intellectual Part One. Phil is particularly interested in the use of InterPlay in organizational life, and believes that InterPlay can be a powerful tool to create communities of diversity and peace.
Linda Schlabach Miller
Linda Schlabach Miller has been doing InterPlay under the direction of Cynthia Winton-Henry / Phil Porter, since 1988. She was a part of the first away Leadership Training Program and is certified as an InterPlay Leader. She teaches InterPlay in Goshen, Indiana along with her partner in play, John Glick and enjoys the luxury of being invited to use InterPlay forms in worship at her Mennonite Church. Linda has taught Life Practice Programs in Goshen, Kalamazoo, Michigan and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Linda is currently mentoring 4 Leaders in Training. Linda enjoys telling people that she is a recovering serious person (to get a reaction) and sighing audibly in public places.
Barbara K. Toshalis
Barbara has moved and danced in response to an inner spirit, music and Creation most of her life. As a spiritual director and InterPlay Leader she offers SoulPlay to individuals and groups in Michigan. SoulPlay deepens and transforms our bodyspirits, offering healing and joy through play and awareness in movement and stillness.
