Portland InterPlay Leaders will offer a special 2-hour celebration marking Marci Rau's 60th birthday and the 30th anniversary of the founding of InterPlay! We'll continue the celebration afterward with a potluck. Feel free to stay whether you bring a dish or not.
Communities around the world are gathering during this week to celebrate InterPlay and raise money for scholarships. Come learn what is happening around the world in a special video that each community will see. There will be an opportunity to contribute to the InterPlay movement to provide more peace and play in the world.
10am-12pm Saturday Oct. 26 at West Hills Friends Church, 7425 SW 52nd Ave. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
12-1pm potluck lunch!

Parking is in the lot to the left of the building or on the street on 52nd Ave. The separate building behind the church, next to the parking lot, is the hall used for InterPlay activities.
Leaders
Marci Rau, BCC
Marci (she/her) is commited to delight, awe, and laughter in the midst of a world that needs these more now than ever. Life also has presented opportunities to go deep into suffering close to home and around the world. Working with groups and individuals in their grief and processing what empowers others has been a lifelong activity. She has worked as a Chaplain for over 25 years in Hospice and Trauma Hospitals. During the pandemic InterPlay tools provided her body and soul refuge and a semblance of sanity.
The ocean and mountains and daily noticiings of nature also have provide solace, comfort, healing, and hope. Embodied spirituality is the best description of where life leads Marci and the people she accompanies along the way.
Wendy Lynn
Wendy was introduced to InterPlay at a yoga and art retreat in 2013 and is now practicing as a Leader in Portland Oregon. Wendy looks for opportunities to use InterPlay tools to build community with her neighbors in the Cully Green cohousing community.Her dream is to offer multi-day craft and play workshops for other recovering serious people like herself.
Cassandra Sagan
Cassandra Sagan is a long time InterPlayer leader and Maggid--Jewish storyteller/teacher/preacher.She is a poet, singer/songwriter, visual artist, performer, and all around Cultural Creative. Cassandra is an arts educator who has worked with adults and children for over 30 years helping them to access their full creative brilliance. Shehas led Moving Midrash programs internationally and used InterPlay to train Jewish Educators to develop story-based curriculum and create classroom cultures grounded in an ethic of play.
