Mairi Campbell
I'm a musician, performer and facilitator based in Scotland. I make concerts and music theatre shows - the latest is called 'Mairi Campbell - Pulse'. I first came across InterPlay on a recommendation and realised it was doing exactly what I wanted to be doing! I wanted to see how it would translate into Scottish culture so organised many InterPlay events in Scotland mainly and invited leaders from the US and Europe. I became a certified leader in 2016. I have found interplay very helpful both professionally and personally.
Meg MacLeod

Meg MacLeod has been leading InterPlay classes and workshops since 1998: in the USA, the Netherlands, Scotland, Germany and Switzerland – in on-going classes, school teachers trainings, camp counselors, university dance and drama students, and at birthdays community celebrations and conferences. She has directed and performed in numerous choreographed and InterPlay (improvisational) concerts.

Some of her main influencers are the Work of Byron Kate, her 12-step recovery and Arnold Mindell's ideas on quantum physics, the Tao and the Dreaming body.

Earlier years.
As school teacher, she regularly directed performances starring the children or brought her musician friends to her school to perform for the kids. In the mid- late-80s as an artist-in-residence, she developed and solo-performed five interactive concerts using music, stories and dance/movement to teach social studies and ecology in 24 US states, Germany and the UK.

As a community activist for Walkable Communities in the 90s she produced several highly successful conferences and two organizations until becoming physically and emotionally 'burned-out'. She credits recovery of her senses and health to InterPlay and other systems and loves to share the playfulness and trust in her intuition and in life she has recovered.
Current passions are music and song-writing, InterPlaying and becoming more fluent in the Dutch language.

One of her favorite forms: fake opera and fake languages with her daughter. She is also a Playing Artist, playing with cross media performance in church (very low-tech) Annegret Zander lernte InterPlay in einem Auslandsjahr in 1992 kennen, ist seit 1996 InterPlay Leader und nutzt die Formen und Prinzipien in ihrer Arbeit als Fachreferentin der Fachstelle Zweite Lebenshälfte in Hanau, Naehe Frankfurt, Pfarrerin, Seelsorgerin, Playing Artist mit Schwerpunkt low rech cross media performance - und das am liebsten als Andacht...

Carina Dengler
Xandra van Hooff
Xandra believes we all have an innate capacity for creativity, engagement and connection. The paradox is only that we are less able to access it when we experience stress (or actively try to reduce it). We can reconnect with it when we deeply rely on inner wisdom and innate resilience. That’s where Interplay comes in. After years of searching for methods to use theater-techniques (like she learned as an improv & clown teacher) in professional development, she discovered Interplay and felt instantly how profound this practice was. Without hesitation she started her leaders journey. Xandra is a graduate of the Europe InterPlay Life Practice program and a Certified InterPlay leader.
Ruth Schowalter
Ruth Schowalter, visionary folk artist, communications educator, and creativity coach, co-founded InterPlay Sustaining International Sisters (SIS) with Canan Arikan in 2018. In 2019, SIS began Online Global SIS to offer InterPlay to women worldwide. In 2020, InterPlay SIS became a 501c3 with the Body Wisdom Office. As a certified InterPlay Leader and Life Practice Program Leader, Ruth is dedicated to bringing together women from diverse backgrounds (geographical, cultural, spiritual, racial, educational, and generational) through play. Within InterPlay, she found the structure to connect women in ways that support them and allows them to share, learn, and inspire one another. Ruth has an M.S. in Applied Linguistics and ESL and taught international students English communication at the university level for 30 plus years, applying InterPlay to her instruction since 2012. She found that InterPlay transformed her language classroom into a community of enlivened and engaged learners. She also brings her expertise to scientists and professionals in workshops, offering them fun new ways to communicate their research and ideas in public presentations. As an artist, Ruth stays engaged in the creative process and established the The Daily Creative Practice Group a decade ago on Facebook to insure that her own art, dreams, and creative ideas get priority while supporting others creative engagement. She is in her fourth year of offering a weekly Dance Chapel through Cynthia Winton-Henry's Hidden Monastery where she leads participants to blend movement, prayer, and making marks. In 2022, Ruth co-led a monthly Ensoulment Creativity Studio with Cynthia Winton-Henry. She exhibits her visionary work both online and offline. Once called a “sophisticated primitive” artist, her colorful figurative paintings and drawings express her inner world both from dreams and psychological meanderings. She lives in Decatur with her author husband, Anthony J. Martin and two cats, Tao and Sapelo.
