Body Wisdom and Our RET Circle of Concern

Daniel Dilliplane and Karen Hatch

Sunday, November 22, 2020 4pm-5:30 pm EST

The work of Racial Equity and Transformation requires us to develop new body wisdom practices that take into account wide and diverse circles of concern. As part of the White Awake Affinity Series, this event will focus on how white accomplices in the fight for racial equity can enhance and deepen their contributions to this work.

We will explore our body data related to engagement with issues of race and racism – particularly our experiences of “making mistakes” and “falling short.” And we’ll play with RAIN, a practice that promotes self-care and a way that can help us keep showing up.
Recognize what is going on;
Allow the experience to be there, just as it is;
Investigate with interest and care;
Nurture with self-compassion.

Let’s take an incremental step together toward transformation!

This session will be offered FREE of charge. Donations will be accepted and all contributions will go to support the Racial Equity and Transformation Mini-Grands Fund.

Join us on Zoom for this event by emailing Karen for the link and password.
