Come and Play!
Introduction to Interplay
Judith Reichsman

Brattleboro, VT
Thursdays on-going group 6:30-7:45 Thursdays in June
Interplay® is a practice and philosophy that promotes community, creativity and fun, helping adults to re-embody the spirit of play through movement, voice, stillness, and story making. The Interplay® approach uses easy-to-do improvisational forms, broken down into small steps, so that all of us-the self-consciously shy and the wildly outgoing-can have fun, be refreshed, and find a deeper connection to ourselves, each other, and the wisdom of our own bodies. Come and play with some basic Interplay forms. ALL bodies are welcome!
Cost: 5 classes = $50, $12 for drop-ins, scholarships & bartering available
Registration/Information: Judith Reichsman 802/254-1149, rahamimi@earthlink.

Judith Reichsman met InterPlay co-creators Cynthia and Phil at an InterPlay workshop in Berkeley, CA in 1989. She became an 'ecstatic follower' within a week of being introduced to it. She moved to Berkeley to go to Grad school where Cynthia was teaching so that she could to do more InterPlay and learn to teach it. Years later, she moved to North Carolina in order to do more InterPlay, and after 3 years of performing with InterPlay NC's OFF THE DEEP END, moved back to Vermont to find 'InterPlaymates' there. THEN, the Universe sent InterPlayer extraordinaire AINE DEDAANAN (Anya!) to Keene, NH, 20 miles away from her Brattleboro (Wantastiguet), Vermont town!!! So she has a nearby playmate and co-leader! Judith has Masters degrees in Dance and Theology and loves both leading and following, fullness & stillness, 'intering' and playing.
