Greeting the New Year Together

Special Thursday night all-genders class
Jonathan Leavy

Oakland, CA

Thursday, January 1st, 7pm-8:25pm

The ongoing Thursday evening class invites people of all genders to join our group in person greet the new year together. Join us for an evening of stories, movement, and giving voice to hope, as we appreciate the gifts of 2025 and welcome 2026.

COVID Protocol: Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for people with a wide variety of health situations. Please stay home if you’ve been sick in the last five days (we'd love to have you come another time). We welcome mask-wearing during class, and we run an air purifier in our high-ceilinged space. If you have questions, please reach out to the leader via the link below.

Transportation and parking: Our lovely studio is in urban Oakland. If you're driving, we recommend parking on major streets like Grand Avenue and Telegraph Avenue (and not 23rd) and not leaving things in your vehicle. We are also close to BART, several bus lines, and protected bike paths. There is good bike parking on Telegraph, and you're also welcome to bring your bike inside the studio.
