On this special evening, we will play with our hopes and dreams for ourselves and for our country. We will exform, dance and sing on behalf of, and play together. I believe we can most benefit from a sense of connection right now in our divided country. Tear yourself away from the television for a little while and shake, move, connect, release, laugh, and lighten your load. Your body and your country will thank you for it! (Gretchen has invited us to her house to watch the results after the class)

InterPlayce is the center of the InterPlay universe. The offices for Body Wisdom, Inc. are also located here. The building is at the corner of 23rd and Telegraph, one block north of West Grand. It is just a few blocks from the 19th Street Downtown Oakland BART station, and on several convenient bus lines. On-street parking is always available at night and metered during the day. It is also easily accessible by several of the major freeways.

Elizabeth Mendana Shaw
Elizabeth Mendana, MFA, is a member of the InterPlay-based Wing It! Performance Ensemble in Oakland, CA and is an international InterPlay leader and performer. She is versed in dance, theatre, and stage wisdom with a special gift for caring about people and art at the same time. The San Francisco Chronicle has called her dancing "Stunning" and "Hypnotic". She has performed with several San Francisco choreographers as well as presenting her own creative work with her company Mendana Productions. She has recently relocated to Seattle where she hopes to continue creating performance art, teach Pilates, and make a home.
