At an “Untensive” retreat, you get to relax, connect, play, laugh, be moved and you get to learn helpful ideas and tools that can create more ease, fullness, purpose and satisfaction in your life.
Almost 50 InterPlay leaders from around the country gathered at Seabeck Conference Center near Seattle in June. They came from as far away as Washington, D.C. and New Hampshire and all parts in between. InterPlay co-founders Cynthia Winton-Henry and Phil Porter lead the group but drew on the resources of many of those present to create all sorts of possibilities for connecting, laughing, creating, eating(!) and general frivolity. The national Board of Directors also spent two days together before the Untensive began, dreaming about the future of InterPlay under the leadership of Board President Nika Quirk.
Seabeck is right near the water on Puget Sound and InterPlayers spent some of their time watching and photographing large groups of bald eagles who were having their own gathering to feast on the local oysters. A whole group of folks also got out on the water in kayaks.
This site lists events in many different regions in the world. Some regions also have their own websites.
